Alexandria Metro Chapter sponsors Alexandria Libraries Event
The Alexandria Metropolitan Chapter of the NFBPA sponsored an event hosted by the Alexandria Library on Saturday, February 24, 2018. "Inventors of Color" was facilitated by National Park Services discussed inventors of color and crucial inventions developed by enslaved people and others which helped cultivate the country of the United States. From a slave named Ned, who invented the cotton scraper in 1858 through inventions of today. The free event was attended by people of all ages and backgrounds.
